A thunderstorm in all its fury with lighting, wind, and rain swept through the little cove where we had anchored…twice.  Each time, without fail, the weather–sky, temperature, wind, etc. changed for the better than the weather that had preceded the storm.

The weather before the first storm was hot, humid, sunny but hazy.  After the first storm, the temperature cooled and things got calmer.  But it wasn’t until the second storm came through that the clouds revealed the most glorious sunset and the water stilled to a calm that radiated peace throughout the cove unmatched than before.

Could it be that life will bring us “storms” that we have to live through in order to get what’s better on the other side?
